Childhood memories

ahh, good times

Since there isn't a lot of stuff happening in the present, i thought i'd share some stories of my childhood.
Chapter One, The story of how i was almost electricuted at the young age of seven.
[dramatic narator voice] it was a hot august day, and our young protagonist decided to go and have some fun in the backyard play area.... as she opened the chainlink fence, she heard a peculiar crackling noise, her immediate thought was "electric fence!" and she ran to go get her loving parents. (notice  how referring to yoursef in the third person makes everythoing more dramatic) So after much convincing, she finally managed to get her parents to inspect the fence, her Father lifted the latch on the gate, and he too, heard the strange crackling. as he looked closer he could see a small spark of electricity jump from the metal fencepost to the gate latch. my *ahem* her father didn't believe it at first, until he grabbed the fence (after her mother had accidently bumped it) and a few volts of electricity ran through his body. (i'll aha, spare you the few choice words he used here) my father, (after recovering from the shock) managed to track the strange current to the nieghbors yard, where a frayed extension cord had been haphazardly left laying up against the fence, and the electricity had simply took the path of least resistance, and traveled straight into our fence, and into the play system gate.  And so, another mystery is solved, thanks to the quick thinking of my errr  our young protagonists actions.

also, i should mention that this is (however strange it may seem) a true story, and that the gate has long since been fixed and spark-free. hope you like the story guys! i'll try to write some more tomorrow.

best regards and sweet wishes,
--Sam
